Touch in Therapy

This workshop explores how to reflect on the appropriateness or inappropriateness of any touch with your client.

Facilitator: David Forrest
David is an experienced Gestalt psychotherapist, supervisor, trainer and workshop facilitator.

April 22nd 2017

This workshop is for anyone in clinical work who is interested in exploring their own position regarding touch in therapy

Much is written, talked, and presented about the difficulties and boundaries of touch in therapy.  In this workshop we explore how to limit or maximise the client's use or need for touch (apparent or real).   We will also look at whether touch has to be physical.

Times: 09.30-14.00

Venue: Birmingham Counselling & Psychotherapy Centre, 131 Pottery Road, Warley Woods, Bearwood, B68 9HE
